On 31st of July 2020 a Discord server was created to group together all conversasions about our Minecraft server. On 26th of November 2020 we have closed that server down, and moved to a newly created, more generalised and under a formalised umbrella one - Moraczanie.
Since then, Moraczanie only grew - absorbing the Discussion Channel of our main server on 14th of October 2020, opening sub-communities on 15th of January 2021, and getting a Terraria sever on 17st of February 2021.
We’ve lived through multiple generations of moderation teams, minecraft staff, and everyone else involved in projects that still haven’t seen the light of day.
I like to thing about Moraczanie as an another example of what our school can achieve. There are probably many reasons why this is the case, but we tend to change quickly. We were ready to continue educating the day after the quarantine was announced, and we were ready to continue engaging the community of students not soon after.
This post could now take a turn in the direction of pessimistic view on youth’s activism, but it won’t.
I’d just like to thank everyone who has ever been involved in any way shape or form in Moraczanie, and wish my successors the best in continuing it.
